Handfasting dates back to Viking and early Celtic times, and is a Pagan ritual still performed today that celebrates the joining of lives together.

This 2 metre cord can be personalised to have different colours intertwined together to suit the colours of your wedding or a certain theme.

One cord takes approx 6 hours to make as it is hand weaved together, has approx 18-36 metres of combined ribbon and then embellishments added. Embellishments do vary and we can source specific embellishments if required but do stock the standard Love, marriage, hearts and many more. 4 Embellishments that are included automatically is the first letter of your names and the first letter of your married name and the love charm.

More charms can be added for an extra cost. Please enquire if you need this option.

Please let us know in the cart comments and notes, which colours you wish to include with a standard amount being 4 and maximum number of colours being 6.

One of the 4 colours must be either Black, Silver or White with 3 other colours then to choose from. There can 2 additional colours added for an added cost.
